More than 100 people filled the Rutherford Sayre Park field house on March 20, eager to hear details about plans for the former Sears store at the northeast corner of North and Harlem avenues.
Chicago-based Tucker Development is planning a 161-apartment and retail project for the former Sears site, and a 27-town home, 125-apartment project at Wabansia and Neva avenues. The developer added that the retail space at the former Sears site would include “a national grocer and a national health club,” but would not reveal the name of either.
